From my experience, tech-depth courses matter much more for placements, especially in your core domain, so I'd prioritize that unless you're already very comfortable with your technical fundamentals. However, if you're aiming for non-tech roles like finance or consulting later, or your core skills are already solid, a good management course could be worthwhile—just don't compromise core CS/branch courses for it.
